We live and breathe live events but ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our staff and those visiting the venues and attractions we cater for is always our top priority.
Our Staff
It’s our fantastic Amadeus teams that bring the visions of our clients to life. As the culture sector begins to reopen, they will be adopting the ‘Venue Protect’ measures implemented by our parent company, the NEC Group.
These Venue Protect measures have been developed to aid the reopening of event venues post COVID-19, so whether you are a visiting customer or one of our venue clients, you can be confident that Amadeus is operating in a safe and controlled manner.
Aligned with those of the wider industry, this 4-step approach incorporates a strict checklist of operational measures that will be adapted as necessary to reflect the latest Government guidelines.
The measures comprise of:
1. Supporting Testing and Tracing
Using data and technology to help ensure customers in Amadeus operated restaurants and private hospitality events are known where possible and free from symptoms.
2. Social distancing measures
Providing space for the safe movement of people around food and beverage outlets and kitchens.
3. Enhanced sanitisation
Increased cleaning of high contact areas.
4. Communication
Clear and helpful guidelines at all Amadeus operated food and beverage outlets and kitchens, to ensure safe compliance of these principles.
It is of paramount importance that our staff understand these measures but are also comfortable and well equipped to deliver them. Staff will complete additional training and be provided with a range of return to work material. These will detail the measures we’re taking front of house, but also behind the scenes to keep them safe.
Venues
We continue to work closely with venues and attractions to ensure that we can deliver a safe service, recognising that each one has differing requirements.
