Phipps Northampton Brewery has been an iconic name in the area's brewing industry since its foundation in 1801. Devotion to beer lies deep in the company's DNA and their Managing Director Alaric Neville is really passionate about their product.

Alaric explains: “The brewery produces classic English ales and stouts and we even have a local gin now. As a heritage brewery we have a firm commitment to keeping alive traditional brewing skills and styles. This part of the country has strong connections to the history of real ale and we’re proud to provide our beers in these Amadeus locations.”

Marc Frankl, Food and Beverage Director at Amadeus, manages the relationship with Alaric and the brewery. He said: “At Compton Verney, the national art gallery set in stunning grounds, visitors can enjoy Phipps Northampton Brewery beers all year round. Our customers get to enjoy beers made from the same traditional recipes used during the Victorian period and can therefore appreciate a little bit of the local identity. At the East of England Arena and Events Centre we tailor products to suit the visitor profile for events – so Phipps Northampton Brewery products will only be available at certain shows, meaning we are providing an offer that the target audience really wants.”
