Event catering company Amadeus is celebrating after winning the ‘Best New Catering Concept’ award at the 2019 National Racecourse Catering Awards, for its work at Stratford Racecourse.
Amadeus secured a five-year contract with Stratford Racecourse in 2018, providing exclusive catering services at the venue on race and non-race days.
Since then, new innovations at the venue are projected to deliver more than 300% return on investment over the length of the contract, with takings doubling year-on-year. Catering facilities at the venue have been completely revamped, along with an improved food and beverage offer and improvements to wayfinding and signage, enhancing the in-venue customer experience.

Amadeus’ events team cater at more than 150 corporate and private events each year, including 19 horseracing fixtures at Stratford Racecourse.
It’s been a hugely successful 2019 for the business, which has secured new, high-profile sporting contracts across golf, tennis and cycling, worth more than £3 million total revenue for the business.
