Kevin Watson, Managing Director at Amadeus, has won the Foodservice Caterer Award at The Cateys 2020.
Held via an online ceremony, the virtual awards celebrate the most talented individuals, biggest brands and the strongest performers in the hospitality industry.
Recognised for his work in driving the business forward, judges commended Kevin’s determination, drive and passion, with an ‘unwavering focus’ on sustainability, technology and a first-class customer experience at venues Amadeus caters for.
Amadeus has history with the awards, having won the Health and Nutrition award for its menu innovation within the conference sector in 2018 and Catering Manager of the Year in 2017 at sister awards, The Foodservice Cateys.
It’s been a successful couple of weeks for Kevin, who recently scooped the Midland Director of the Year gong for Social Value and Sustainability Impact at the Institute of Directors Director of the Year Awards.
On the award, Kevin said: “I’m thrilled to have won the Foodservice Caterer Award at The Cateys but it wouldn’t have been possible without a fantastic team effort – thank you to my incredible team. A big thank you must also go to The Caterer for putting on such a great virtual evening during these unusual times.
“It has been a challenging year for our industry but we’re now looking forward to what the future holds as we move through the festive period.”
