Amadeus, part of the NEC Group, is an award-winning event catering company, based in Birmingham.
We are passionate foodies. With a kitchen boasting more than 650 industry awards, Amadeus delivers innovative solutions to venues and event organisers across the country, providing visitors with a unique and memorable food experience.
As part of the NEC Group we run the catering operations NEC, the ICC, Resorts World Arena, Utilita Arena and the Vox. We also operate at many other venues nationally, find out more on our venues page.

Amadeus, part of the NEC Group, is an award-winning event catering company, based in Birmingham. We deliver diverse catering to many customers who attend our world-famous exhibitions and high-profile concerts as well as corporate, private and wedding events.

We will contact you with in four days of your application. You’ll receive a quiz and upon passing, we will then invite you to an interview.

We have a range of interview approaches, depending on the role. It might be one or a combination of: face-to-face interview, online interview, or assessment centres, where you can meet the team. We want to give an insight into what it’s really like to work with us.
No experience is necessary, but we would like to see your employment history upon application. Checks are only required for specific events and staff, but we will let you know in plenty of time if these are necessary.
When you start your job, you’ll need to complete various online training modules. These take approx. four hours and you will be paid in line with payroll process. The courses ensure you are up to date with food safety, health & safety as well as NEC Group and Amadeus know how.

If you wish to train as a cashier, plate wait or bar, we can arrange a shift for you. Just notify the manager of the area that you need training in this position. You will wear an “I’m in training” badge until you and the manager feel you are confident in that role

Amadeus offer work around your availability. If we need staff for an event and you are available and have the skills needed, you will be booked.
You manage your availability and view allocated shifts on your online profile.
You can input an expense claim via your backstage login and follow the instructions to submit your claim. You will need to provide a VAT receipt as part of your claim.
We provide taxis for staff that work after 11pm, live within a 20-mile radius, and can provide a payment of £3. At the start of your shift, just let the relevant deployment team know you will need a taxi.
